Tricky Forecast

November 7, 2009

One more wonderful day around the entire state today followed by a pretty quick transformation back to the wet stuff. While we won’t see a direct impact from Ida, the pressure difference on the northern side of Ida could bring tropical storm force wind gusts all the way to the Louisiana coast. The wind will be markedly lighter this far north.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and nice once again. Highs will be in the middle to upper 70s with southeasterly wind around 5-15 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy and mild. Lows will be in the middle 50s.

Sunday: Becoming mostly cloudy with an isolated shower possible late. Highs will be in the middle 70s.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 50% chance for showers late. Lows will be around 60.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with a 60% for showers. Highs will be in the lower 70s.

Tuesday through Friday: Any rain will end early on Tuesday and leave us with another stretch of dry weather. Highs will be in the lower to middle 70s, and lows will fall from the middle 50s back to the upper 40s.
