A Cooldown In Sight

October 8, 2009

Warmth and humidity will once again rule the area today. I think we have a bit of a break before the organized rain returns. Then the question becomes, how long will the rain stick around! I’ll tell you……….. right now.

Thursday: Partly sunny, hot, and humid. Highs will be in the lower 90s with southeasterly wind around 10-20 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy and muggy. Lows will be in the lower to middle 70s.
Friday: Increasing clouds with a 70% chance for rain and thunderstorms late in the day. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.
Friday Night: Cloudy with a 70% chance for showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the middle 60s.
Saturday: Cloudy and cooler with a 70% chance for rain. Highs will be in the lower to middle 70s.

Sunday through Wednesday: There could be some lingering showers Sunday and Monday. I’ll leave a 30% chance for rain on those days. After that we should be partly cloudy and pleasant. Highs will range from the lower to middle 70s each day, with lows falling from the lower 60s Sunday and Monday, to the middle 50s Tuesday and Wednesday.
