Another Nice One!

September 30, 2009

As I type this, it is 54 degrees at Esler Field, and 55 at the airport. This is the little hint of fall I’ve been waiting for! The A.C is officially getting a break at the Mikulas household. Not much has changed since yesterday. A pretty decent round of storms is still on tap for tomorrow night. Here are the details.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and pleasant once again. Highs will be in the low 80s with light wind turning to the southeast around 5-10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy and a bit warmer. Lows will be near 60.

Thursday: Becoming mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for an afternoon thunderstorm. Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 70% chance for thunderstorms. Lows will be in the upper 60s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy early with a 40% chance for morning thunderstorms. Skies will become partly cloudy by afternoon. Highs will be near 80.

Saturday through Tuesday: Saturday looks dry and nice. After that, moisture will quickly return giving us a shot at a few showers as soon as late Sunday. Right now, I’ll go with a 30% chance for showers late on Sunday, and pull that rain chance up to 40% for Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will start off chilly Saturday and Sunday morning. Lows will be in the lower to middle 50s. Monday and Tuesday will bring back middle 60s to near 70 for lows. Highs will be in the lower 80s from Saturday through Monday, with a bump back up into the middle 80s by Tuesday.
