A Somewhat Tricky Forecast

September 23, 2009

Things have changed a bit more than I’d expected in the last 24 hours. The front that was going to hang up over the area has pushed a bit further east than originally expected. This doesn’t mean we will be free of the rain….. or the clouds for that matter. It does mean that our rain should be a bit lighter than it could have been had we kept the front around to concentrate that heavier stuff in our area. Here’s how it breaks down, from a man with lots of shirts to print, and a cat on his shoulder.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and dreary. There is a 70% chance for showers and a few thunderstorms. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s with light northerly wind around 5-10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance for showers. Lows will be in the upper 60s to near 70.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a 50% chance for showers and a few thunderstorms. Highs will be in the middle 80s.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance for showers. Lows will be in the upper 60s to near 70.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s.

Saturday through Wednesday: There could be a few showers hanging around on Saturday, but beyond that I’ll keep rain chances below 20% each day. There’s not a big cool down on tap just yet, but I do think lows will fall into the middle 60s each night. Highs will stay up in the middle to upper 80s.

Have a great rest of the week!
