A Bit More Rain

September 17, 2009

The pattern we’re in hasn’t allowed for huge amounts of rainfall in most areas over the last few days. That’s a much different story just a few hundred miles north of us. Here, things have been fairly well behaved. It looks like today will be another day of scattered storms, and brief heavy rain.

Thursday: Variably cloudy with a 50% chance for thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s with southwesterly wind around 5-10 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance for thunderstorms. Lows will be in the lower 70s.

Friday: Variably cloudy with a 50% chance for thunderstorms. Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 30% chance for thunderstorms. Lows will be in the lower 70s.

Saturday: Partly sunny with a 30% chance for afternoon thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90.

Sunday through Wednesday: I’ll keep rain chances at 30% for Sunday, but up them to 40% from Monday through Wednesday. Highs should stay in the upper 80s to near 90. Lows will be in the upper 60s to near 70.
