Equal Parts Rain And Sun

September 16, 2009

There’s been a decent mix of rain and sun over the last couple of days. Yesterday we had some very shallow showers develop over us. These were marked by lots of very small rain drops that came down fairly heavily from time to time. So far at my house, we’ve seen 3.4″ of rain since last Wednesday. Now I just need to find time, and dry enough weather, to cut the grass!

Wednesday: Variably cloudy with a 50% chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s with southwesterly wind around 5-15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance for thunderstorms. Lows will be in the lower 70s.

Thursday: Variably cloudy with a 60% chance for thunderstorms. Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance for thunderstorms. Lows will be in the lower 70s.

Friday: Partly cloudy with a 50% chance for thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

Saturday through Tuesday: Scattered storms will stick around for the weekend, though I think there will be plenty of dry time. I’ll go with a 30% chance for rain Saturday and Sunday, and pop that up to 40% for Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be in the upper 80s each day, and lows will generally be in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
