A Nice Little Break From The Heat

August 22, 2009

Hurricane Bill is poised to brush the northeastern U.S, but the worst should stay east of Nantucket. Nova Scotia could end up taking a direct hit from a category 1 or 2 hurricane in a couple of days. If you were going to that timeshare in Halifax this weekend, you might want to change your plans.

Here’s your forecast!

Saturday: Mostly sunny and quite nice. Highs will be in the lower 90s, with lower humidity. The wind will be from the north at 5-15 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear with lows in the lower to middle 60s. That’s nice for this time of year!

Sunday: Mostly sunny again with highs in the lower 90s.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear with lows from 62-65.

Monday: Mostly sunny and dry with highs in the lower to middle 90s.

Tuesday through Friday: Our transition back to wetter days will start around Wednesday. Highs will be in the lower to middle 90s throughout with increasing humidity through Thursday. Lows will rise from the mid 60s Tuesday morning to the lower 70s Friday morning. Rain chances are out of the forecast Tuesday, but reappear in the 30-40% range from Wednesday through Friday. Enjoy your weekend of wonderful weather!
