Overnight Lows = Nice

August 21, 2009

When your top story is overnight lows, I guess things are going OK. We’ll see one more stormy day today, but with a nice refreshing change showing up as soon as Saturday night. Hurricane Bill will likely miss the U.S mainland, but could make a close brush, or perhaps a landfall on Nova Scotia. No tropical worries here right now! That’s a great statement to be able to make in late August.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a 70% chance for thunderstorms. Some heavy rain and gusty wind will be possible this afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 90s, with southwesterly wind around 5-10 mph.

Friday Night: There is a 40% chance for evening thunderstorms. Lows will be in the lower 70s.

Saturday: Becoming mostly sunny. Highs will be in the lower 90s, with noticably lower humidity by late afternoon.

Saturday Night: Very nice! Lows will be from 62-65 under clear skies, with light winds!

Sunday: Mostly sunny and again quite nice. Highs will be in the lower 90s, with low humidity.

Monday through Thursday: Highs will be in the lower to middle 90s throughout. Overnight lows will climb from the lower 60s Monday morning to near 70 by Thursday morning. We will likely stay dry through Tuesday, with a 20-30% chance for rain creeping back in Wednesday, and especially Thursday.

Lily’s first day of school is today! Crazy I tell ya.
